GAMAX was established in 2004 in order to monetise research carried out in previous years into possible uses of calcium silicates in the shipbuilding industry. We filed a patent application for a laminated panel, comprising a component up to then used as a thermal insulation material.
The company subsequently decided to implement further research on this product into its application in other sectors of industry, starting with shipbuilding and then into civil engineering as well. This research led to the birth of the modular cabin made entirely from calcium silicate panels.

A patent application was also filed for this individual design. Research and trials in the subsequent years led to GAMAX becoming a de facto constructor and the end result is a new technology product, offering a real alternative to the materials used in ship and civil engineering thus far.
All testing has been carried out at certified and accredited laboratories and test sites: RINA, Cetena, CTS, Eurofins. Because from the outset we have strongly believed in the benefit and validity of the project

Contact with established and potential partners and customers serves both as a confirmation of the project's validity and an impetus to continue testing and research in order to further improve the product. A product which is already at the forefront of technology, with physical and mechanical specifications of the first order. The numerous benefits deriving from the use of MECCANOPANEL, MECCANOPANEL S and LAYWALL translate not only into a modern and valid product, but also one that is designed to respect the environment and the health and safety of the people working on and assembling the panels. |
